The Brazilian Touring Car Championship was held this weekend at the New Hobby track. Blue sky, warm weather but there were only 13 drivers in stock class and 15 drivers in modified class.
After all heats of Saturday, 3 drivers of each class went directly to the finals, on the stock class Flavio Loures Salinet taked 2nd place with his Xray. Flavio also raced on modified class. He taked the 1st place on the modified class with Xray too. The finals were completed.

The first final of stock class was dominated by Fabiano Franco (Yokomo SD1) followed by Flavio Loures Salinet (Xray). Flavio had to won the second final to get the title on stock class. The second final of stock class was great, Flavio won with Fabiano Franco in 4th place. After 2 well raced finals, Flavio Loures Salinet gets the Brazilian TC 2004 title.

Modified class began after the end of stock finals! In the first final Flavio Loures Salinet (Xray) was in first place followed by Lincoln Almeida (Associated TC3). With a bad start, Flavio (Xray) droop to 2nd place but when left 15 seconds to finish his motor lost the power and Flavio lost the 2nd place to Fabiano Franco (Yokomo SD1) and finished in 3rd place.

At the second final of modified class, Flavio (Xray) started on 3rd place but on the first corner he was on 2nd place close to Lincoln Almeida (Associated Tc3). Flavio (Xray) was following Lincoln (Associated) closely and he did take the 1st place after few laps. Flavio won the second final of modified class following by Lincoln (Associated) but at the end of the day, with the results of the 2 finals. Lincoln Almeida (Associated) taked the title with Flavio Loures Salinet (Xray) in second.

Xray had an excellent result on the Brazilian TC Championship with 3 cars at the stock finals and 6 cars at the modified finals. The podium of stock finals was full of Xray drivers because of the disqualification of Fabiano Franco with an outlow motor. On the modified class, Xray gets 2 of the 3 places in the podium.

Xray got a great result in stock class with Flavio Loures Salinet, Luiz Gonzaga and Jonas Ferstemberg. Xray taked the track records too through Flavio Loures Salinet. On the stock class the record droop to 11.560 seconds from the original 11.780 and the modified class droop to 10.980 seconds from 11.300.
Congratulations to both Champions: Flavio Loures Salinet at Stock Class and Lincoln Almeida at Modified Class.
